Xingyu “Harry” Chen, is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer based in Los Angeles. He specializes in directing, camera operating, color grading, post-production finishing, and still photography.  

                     

His directorial work, highlighted by the critically acclaimed "Attached" (2023, streamed Omeleto), is characterized by its genre-bending narratives, thought-provoking themes, and a distinctive touch of horror. Xingyu's director-colorist work has received recognition from numerous film festivals, including the Academy-Award-qualifying Urbanworld Film Festival, LA Shorts International Film Festival, and many more.

As a versatile photographer with a focus on taking high quality Behind-the-Scenes stills, Xingyu has amassed dozens of credits for various short films, TV shows, and music videos. His work has been featured internationally across different media platforms. Recently awarded an MFA degree in Film Production - Directing from Loyola Marymount University, Xingyu continues to captivate audiences with his unique storytelling and visual expertise.
